Enon, OH holds somewhat of a special place in the hearts of Radiate Digital. After all, it’s where our very own Steve and Dana attended high school. When they graduated, they probably had no idea they would one day design a brand new website for their town.
Truth be told, that was so long ago, they might not have even known what a website was at the time. But I digress…
The Village of Enon was in need of a new website for a few reasons. For starters, there were certain areas of the old site that were broken. Navigation was also a serious problem. Half the website could only be accessed by going to the correct sequence of pages. They also wanted a better way to post events.
And of course there’s the fact that the old website kind of looks like a video game menu from the late 90’s.
Enon is a great town with a lot of activities going on throughout the year. We wanted to build them a website that truly showed all they had to offer, while accurately displaying the town’s charm.
Though it might be a small town, there was a lot of information for this website to convey. A big part of designing it was sorting where information would go, making the most important things the easiest to find, while trying not to hide the rest of the info.
Rather than hiding links on interior pages, we kept everything accessible from the drop down menus. The end result was a website where people can easily find exactly what they’re looking for.
And like all of our websites built on the Radiate framework, the Village of Enon website is completely responsive, making it fully accessible from smartphones and tablets.
Are you ready to plan a trip to Enon, Ohio? The people there are very nice. One visit, and you may never leave.
